Kirstin Schäfer has been working as a research associate at the Institute of Vocational Education and Work Studies at Technische Universität Berlin since February 2020. She is responsible for the design, planning and running of a co-lab in the Prevocational Education master’s program. The co-lab focuses on developing practical tasks for teaching economics-work-technology (WAT). Kirstin has been teaching trainee teachers in the subject area economics-work-technology (WAT) at the 1st SPS Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg since 2015 and has been working as a teacher at a reform pedagogical community school in Berlin since 2013. From 2006 until 2011, she studied teacher training focusing on biology, work studies and German at Justus Liebig University Giessen.
