The department maintains numerous international contacts, in research as well as in teaching.
For teaching, a double-degree "Audio Communication and Sonology" was established in 2014 within the framework of a cooperation agreement with the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague/Netherlands. An exchange agreement within the degree program exists with the Georgia Institute of Technology, as do a number of Erasmus agreements with European partners.
Less formalized are the connections with international partners, which often result from joint research projects, but which usually also allow a guest stay and, after consultation, possibly also the completion of the thesis.
Contact can be made directly via the contacts listed on the institutes' websites or after consultation during office hours.
