Electron microscopy is a very broad and lively field, where you may also find your topic for your bachelor or master thesis: According to your skills and interests, you can choose between work that tends to have its focus on theory and programming when dealing with methodological issues, and more experimental work that, after appropriate sample preparation, will be performed by yourself on state-of-the-art electron microscopes and analyzed using advanced methods.
