Declaration on Digital Accessibility

Technische Universität Berlin strives to make its websites fully accessible for all users. The University is required to provide a declaration on digital accessibility by the law on accessible information and communication technology for Berlin (BIKTG Bln). The technical requirements for accessibility are determined by BITV 2.0.

This declaration on digital accessibility applies to the web pages belonging to www.tu.berlin.

How accessible is the website?

The www.tu.berlin website was relaunched in 2020. The guidelines laid out in BITV 2.0 were given due consideration in the design and programming of the website.

Given the size and scope of the University’s website, however, it is not possible to avoid some problems occurring.

A BITV test is being prepared to assess the website. The results of this test will be published here as soon as they become available.

When was the declaration on accessibility drafted?

The declaration was last revised on 5 August 2022.
