Services for Department II
- Providing administrative maintenance for SAP HCM (database for managing, customizing and troubleshooting staff data, job categories, and salary statements) - includes modules: PA, PY, PT, OM, PD, PM, FI-TV
- Ensuring data quality in the SAP HCM module
- Determining IT standards regarding hardware (e.g. type of monitor, printer, laptop) and software (e.g. Adobe programs etc.)
- Introducing new data processing applications (e.g. e-recruiting, certificate tool, Document Designer, etc.)
- Coordinating between the service units and Campus Management and ITB
- Commissioning ITB to install software updates
- Planning, purchasing, and managing required hardware
- Purchasing and managing rental devices (multifunctional copy machines, printers, etc.)
- Providing staff with 1st and 2nd level support for data processing issues (e.g. hardware and software, reading rights for wikis, updating letter headers, creating fillable PDF forms)
- Services for the service units (e.g. creating statistics, overviews, and other evaluations)
- Ordering necessary hardware for Dept. II (laptops, monitors, docking stations, mouses, printers, headsets, etc.)
- Maintaining an inventory of hardware for Dept. II
- Managing and issuing toner including its disposal
Services for other TU staff
- Developing and regularly implementing interfaces between SAP HCM and other SAP modules in collaboration with the other departments
- Sending circulars, current notices, and emails through our address procurement procedure (Please use our dispatch form)
- Statistics and lists of names where permissable under data protection law and if unavailable from other responsible units, including Reporting.
- Creating electoral registers for the committees
