Forschung

In meiner Promotion habe ich mich mit der Realisierung reaktiver Prozesse in flüssigen Mehrphasensystemen beschäftigt und durch neue Methodiken zur Systemcharakterisierung und Einbindung dynamischer Prozessmodelle und -Optimierung ein erfolgreiches Proof of Concept für die kontinuierliche Hydroformylierung von C12-Alkenen in Mikroemulsionen im Miniplant-Maßstab realisiert. Neben der Fortsetzung von Forschungen zu Umsetzung homogener Katalysen in flüssigen Mehrphasensystemen liegen weitere Schwerpunkte in der Intensivierung thermischer Trennprozesse mittels rotierender Packungsapparate (RPB) sowie die Auswirkung und Vermeidung fluiddynamischer Phänomene, insb. Schäumen, auf den Prozessbetrieb. Weitere Schwerpunkte umfassen neue Reaktorkonzepte für die heterogene Katalyse (OCM, H2->NH3) sowie Prozessautomatisierung und die Integration fortschrittlicher Optimierungsmethoden in den realen Anlagenbetrieb.
