Mobility connects people with each other, brings the foreign closer, overcomes borders and broadens horizons. Mobility includes the willingness to move and to overcome spatial distances. The increase in mobility needs is changing the requirements for mobility services worldwide. China in particular is facing major challenges due to its rapid social, economic and technological change.
The 29th Annual Conference of the German Association for China Studies (DVCS), which took place from November 30 to December 1, 2018 at the Center for Cultural Studies on Science and Technology in China (CCST) of Technische Universität Berlin, was dedicated to mobility, movement and transfer processes in China in general.
