Dr. David Karl and co-authors from TU Berlin and the Colorado School of Mines receive the James Zhijian Shen Prize for the best scientific paper in the journal Open Ceramics

The prize was presented at the 18th meeting of the European Ceramic Society in Lyon by the editor-in-chief Prof. Paolo Colombo.

The winning paper is a review article on the in situ resource utilization from local resources on Mars. The article is publicly available here: DOI
